Sledge on Fabric. No code. Tuned.
Does Sledge work with the Fabric theme? Yes. Sledge detects Fabric at load: filters, instant search, bundles, badges, and the cart drawer all match Fabric's wide, flush layout from the first visit. Nothing to code, nothing to edit.
Fabric is the wide one among Shopify's newer free themes: light, airy, product cards flush, edge to edge, across an extra-wide page. Sledge matches both: every grid it draws, collections, search results, recommendations, instant search, keeps the flush spacing at full width.

How do I add product filters to Fabric?
Install Sledge and switch on the app embed. Sledge replaces Fabric's collection grid with full filter groups, swatches, price sliders, and product counts, rendered at Fabric's full width with the same flush, edge-to-edge card spacing as the native grid. No code, no template edits.
Filters that sell, not just sort: Filters.
How do I improve Fabric's search?
Sledge gives Fabric instant search: results as the shopper types, typos forgiven, synonyms understood. Fabric's own search buttons, desktop and mobile, open the Sledge overlay instead, and results render in the same flush grid. Behind the overlay sits a full results page with filters.
And when a query keeps returning nothing, Growth Intelligence flags it, with a fix and a dollar figure attached. Details on AI Search.
How do I add bundles or quantity breaks to Fabric?
On Fabric, bundles are tuned to render above the add-to-cart button on product pages and at the top of collections and search results. Your free gift and shipping goal render inside the cart drawer and on the cart page. Nine types you can build today, from quantity breaks to build-your-own, in cards that match Fabric.
Every type, explained: Bundles.
Can I replace Fabric's cart drawer?
Yes. Sledge intercepts Fabric's cart button and opens its own drawer: a free-shipping bar that fills as the cart grows, a countdown that nudges checkout, and your offers once more before the finish line. Fabric's native drawer stays hidden; your theme files stay untouched.
The cart that finishes the sale. See Cart Drawer.
Do product badges work on Fabric?
Yes. On product pages, Sledge is tuned to place the badge on Fabric's product photo. In collections and search results, badges render on the product cards Sledge draws, flush grid included. Those same cards fill Sledge's recommendation sliders: the bottom related-products row on product pages, plus the homepage, cart page, and 404 page. Badge what's true: "Low stock" that's really low, a launch badge that retires on the date you set.
Badges live in Merchandising, next to boosting.
Questions, answered
Will Sledge break my Fabric theme?
No. Sledge injects at runtime and never edits Fabric's files. The Fabric configuration is detected at load, so widgets land in the right places on day one.
Does Sledge slow Fabric down?
No. You load one app's script instead of one script per app, and it loads without blocking the page.
Does Sledge work if I've customized Fabric?
Mostly, yes. Auto-detection reads the page as it actually renders, so rearranged sections are handled. If a heavy customization puts something in an odd spot, support helps.
Do I need to edit Fabric's code?
No. Install the app, switch on the app embed, done. No snippet to paste, no template to edit.
What happens when I uninstall?
Fabric is exactly as it was. Sledge injects at runtime through the app embed and never edits Fabric's theme files, so switching the embed off leaves your theme rendering the way it did before.
