How does the commission work?
Sledge's 10 founding partners earn 25%, and partners who join later earn 20%. Your rate applies to what a referred store pays for its plan each month, not counting tax, while it stays on a paid plan. Shopify's share and fees don't come out of it. A refund or chargeback cancels or reduces the commission on that payment, and if we already paid it, we take it from your next payout. A store counts as yours when it installs within 30 days of clicking your link, on the same device.
When does my commission start?
With a referred store's first payment, when it moves to a paid plan after its 14-day free trial.
What happens if a merchant changes plans?
Your commission follows the plan the store pays for, so a move from Pro to Scale raises it and a move down lowers it. Your rate stays the same.
When and how do I get paid?
We send your commission to your PayPal. Each commission becomes available 30 days after the store's payment, once Shopify has paid us for it. Your Shoffi balance shows commission as soon as the store pays, including commission still on hold. When it reaches $50, request a payout. We pay every 14 days, and your payout goes out on the first payday after all its commissions are available, minus any a refund took back.
How do I track my referrals?
Once you're approved, Shoffi gives you your referral link and a dashboard of the stores you've referred.
Do development stores count?
Not while they're development stores. Once the store is transferred to your client and makes its first plan payment, your commission starts. If it no longer shows as yours in Shoffi after the transfer, send it to us as a manual referral.
Can I refer my own store?
Stores you own or control don't earn commission. A client's store that you manage but don't own or control does.
Is there an approval process?
Yes. We review every application and reply within a few business days. The founding cohort is limited to 10 partners.

On the Shoffi sign-up page, before you join. They cover when a store counts as yours, payouts, and self-referral or fraud.
